Important information for people in Malta
- If you want information about coronavirus, FIRST look on https://covid19malta.info and THEN if you don’t find what you need, call 111.
- The call centre running the Government helplines is taking calls between 6am and 9pm.
- Worried that you have symptoms of coronavirus or have been exposed to it? Call 111 or 2132 4086 or email covid19health@gov.mt
- Want to report someone for breaking mandatory quarantine? Call 22 944 504 or 22 944 511 or email covid19health@gov.mt
- Have you arrived from abroad recently, or live with someone who has? Stay home for 14 days.
- Are you stuck abroad and need help? Call the Foreign Affairs Ministry on 2204 2200 or e-mail sitcen.mfea@gov.mt.
- Are you in quarantine at home and you need food or medicine? Phone 21 411 411
- Are you in quarantine at home and have even mild symptoms of cough, high temperature or shortness of breath? Call 111 and do not go to a doctor, clinic, pharmacy, polyclinic or hospital.
- Need advice regarding education? Call 2598 1000.
- Are you over the age of 60 and need someone to bring you medicine, groceries or cooked meals? Call 2590 3030 (Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, Saturday 8am to 1pm).
- Do you live in Ta’ Xbiex and need help, especially if you are elderly or under quarantine? Your Local Council will help you, including helping you to buy groceries online without leaving your house, and helping if you have an emergency. Phone 7933 8846, the line is open 24 hours a day.
- All court sessions have been suspended except for emergencies – the Justice Ministry has said that if you have questions about a justice-related issue, you can call 2590 2000 during office hours.
